1. What do think of when I say 'fire'?
ICEDRAGONS!!! duh!
2. What does your favourite color MEAN to you? [symbolism, emotion, etc.]
Silent assault on average society!
3. Have you ever seen a snake robot?
No! But I have seen bug robots
5. Do you constantly check your phone/Facebook/e-mail? [No. I don't have Facebook. Don't bother.]
Not constantly, every other week or so.
6. Lefty or righty? [Or amazing ambidexterous?!]
If I said Lefty, it's wishful thinking
7. You come across a fork in the road. Which way do you go? [Left, right, or straight into the field?]
Straight into the field of course.

I don't trust people playing with my brain like that

We're getting our business license in January!

All fire and no ice

Fun Fact: I was at the medieval fair in Norman April 2nd. Got a new fox tail. Nice sunburn on the shoulders. Lots of pictures.
Not so fun Fact: My phone rang. I looked down to see it was my Roommate. As I answered the phone I could only understand a few words as she screamed into the mouth piece, "TWYLA! YOUR BEDROOM IS ON FIRE!" I asked if she was serious, hoping it was a belated April Fools joke......It was not.
I tried to calm her down, asking if she called 911. After confirming that she started crying. Our kitties were still in there. Her and my brother were trying to get her Spaz, but he wouldn't come to them. My Stickers was presumed dead already, since we all thought she was in the flaming bedroom. I told her the get out of the house, and I would call her right back.
I got a hold of dispatch. Letting them know I was Officer Price's wife, I asked them to inform my husband that our house was on fire and I needed him to call me. Frankly, I just need him period. My cousin and I walk to a curb to sit as we wait on her husband to come pick us up. We knew it'd be a while since there is absolutely no rushing through Med fair traffic. It took me 3 hours to make it back home, to find my husband, and roommates (my brother and his girlfriend) talking to a fireman and my Step mom. I rushed into my husband, nearly knocking him over, and embraced him. I then started crying, knowing I couldn't look at the house yet. I let go of my husband and walk to our roommate and wrapped my arms around her. She was freezing. The only things she made out of the house with were her pajamas. No shoes, no jacket. So, I took off my fuzzy black jacket and helped her into it. I'd just ran an 1/16 of a mile down hill to get there. So, I was pretty warm.
My cousins went home after dropping me off on that hill, asking if they had anything we needed to just call. I promised I would, gave them hugs, and goodbye. After, finally, turning to look what was left of our home, I'd wished they'd stayed to see this. Firetrucks were still shooting water into smoldering ash. Nothing was left except the twisted and warped frame of the trailer. everything was black and goo. Flattened.
The firemen had to keep periodic checkups through out the night. The back woods tried to relight and the remains of the home did relight twice before we got back the next morning. Only, we wouldn't be back the next morning. My husband father took us to find a new trailer that day.....
We found one, and it now sits where our old one did. We just need the permit required to get electricity again. And, today I go to meet with a man who's doing a soil test to see if they'll give us that permit. I pray they do. We cannot stay in a hotel much longer and still afford what professionals have been telling us we might have to pay. And, trying to find a loan company when you have really bad credit and nothing for collateral? We're looking.
So, as you may have guessed. I don't have a computer anymore, and this is the first opportunity I've had to get on and let people know what's going on. My art uploading is completely halted. And, I will have to start from scratch, as the work I'd been forever meticulocating will now never be seen. As far as music goes, well, lets just not talk about the loss. It's easier to start over if you don't think about what was. So, I've been focusing on what could be.
We are all alive and still kicking very hard. A couple of days ago, my roommate proposed to my brother. I happily await their future marriage. Hoping things keep moving smoothly, I will see you all later.
